Youch

Heavy hitting, blues & progressive rock inspired power trio - Youch quite was pulled from the mind of Scott Snyder, quite literally as he presented fellow rocking compatriots Drew and Mike an extensive list of completely made up words and phrases. After many crossed out names, heated arguments, tears shed, and dreams crushed - Youch was permanently settled in Scott's home in Chicago. Youch is Scott's brainchild, and his many musical inspirations gathered over decades of playing music in the Chicago area. Drew and Mike contribute an energetic, powerful rhythm section pulling on influences from metal, jazz and alternative rock to complement and modernize Scott's vocals and guitar solos that hearken back to the tasteful and ever interesting stylings of 70's progressive rock giants. The group's tunes cover an immense genre swing of soulful, aggressive, and accusational rock. The three have a joined love of huge varieties of music, and sharing it with anyone who would care to listen, or sip on an PBR and talk shop.
