RIDDIMBOX AND A MIC

RiddimBox & A Mic is the name of the Soundsystem started by New Age Dancehall fusion artist Mista Chatman. It consists of his MPC (aka RiddimBox) and his microphone. He originally started it back in 2018 as a way to play his tracks live and chat lyrics on top without needing another dj. Kinda a one man Dancehall show. But after seeing a YouTube video from a person using the MPC as a DJ controller, in 2020 he begin practicing dj sets of all old school Reggae music with live toasting on top to lively up the crowd. Since then RiddimBox & A Mic has played across Seattle and NYC and even started the REGGAE NIGHT! Parties which take place in Seattle’s Pioneer Square & Capitol Hill neighborhoods. “So if you’re keeping a session and you want it to ram, call RiddimBox & A Mic to nice it up inna old School fashion”
