About Stan Kelz

Stan Kelz is a professional Emcee and Audio-Visual Engineer born in Darmstadt, Germany, and raised in Nacotchtank, now known as the DMV. Stan Kelz is an indigenous-American from the Cimarron-Maroon peoples of the Great Dismal Swamp. His music highlights his heritage and provides insight into forgotten stories of earlier Kituwah (Cherokee) and Washitaw (Olmec) peoples' history. His performances serve as an unveiling of an alluring perspective of Blackamoor, Negro, and World history. Stan Kelz has performed at an array of festivals: Kunta Kinte, SECAB, H Street, Porchfest, Art All Night, and more. He has featured at Pure Open Mic, Red Lounge, and Furrever Open Mic. On the technical side, Stan has used his sound and A/V engineering skills for Broccoli City Fest, The Grio, and Blues Alley.
