Simply In Time

Simply In Time was formed by Robb Hughes, Steve Boersma and Eric Nollet from a big, horn driven West Michigan funk band to do our own version of popular tunes and play a few smaller venues. Well, we met Jake Oakey when he moved here from Colorado. His ability to write original songs and vocals that could shake the rafters made it clear, this was our main project! There were a few roster changes early on. Something was missing. After a few auditions, Kay Dee walked into our studio and blew us away with her voice and incredible harmonies.

While writing and arranging our own original music, we decided to take some of the best funk, classic rock, R&B, Yacht Rock and instrumental jams, shake them up a little, add our own blend of "seasoning" for some flavor, and build a show you have to see! From Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, U2, Joe Cocker, David Bowie, Cake, Wild Cherry, Sir-Mix-A-Lot (Yes, you read that right), TLC, and Dave Matthews to current hot bands like H.E.R., Lorde, Fitz & The Tantrums, Ray LaMontagne, Cory Wong, Vulfpeck, The Fearless Flyers, Dirty Loops and Scary Pockets, Simply In Time sets the stage for an all-night party!
