Suzanne Scholz

I am a Lake Martin native and local Country Music Singer/Guitarist in and around East Alabama and West Georgia. I play really old country music and just plain old good country music. My country music sounds old even when its not, because that's what I was steeped in growing up. I grew up in Alexander City, Alabama. I started playing guitar in High school, even playing on the docks on Perdido Bay with the likes of Guthrie Trapp and Gove Scrivenor. Jerry Trapp, Guthrie's uncle was a mentor and took me to buy first guitar which I still have and even played at the Florabama when I was 19 one night with Jerry and Guthrie. I play the music my soul sings which skews heavily old country, new country, and originals. I book solo, duo, or band shows.
