About Nick Zazove
"Each song of mine is like a mini-pocket universe, both expansive in reach and pensive in nature. I can be a perfectionist, but I understand that it's the music's imperfections that imbue its character and humanity."
Nick makes computer music sound like a collage of disparate human voices that add up to an eclectic approximation of his influences. He started writing rap music at the age of 17 with the Young Chicago Authors organization and set up his first home studio shortly after. He studied music composition & production at Lake Forest College and performed with the West African Drum and Choir ensembles. As a part of the Haven Volume Collective, Nick has collaborated as an artist and engineer on projects with artists such as Add-2, NJ Diamond, and Sage P. His music is a haunting blend of eclectic textures and experimental production techniques. Currently, Nick is writing and producing two studio albums and one music EP each to be released across 2023 and 2024.
