Edvard Borneo

A dynamic clash of charming rhythms and candid tales is only part of what outlines Edvard Borneo. To fresh ears, his sound is reminiscent of Elliot Smith or a young Bob Dylan during the golden years of the 60’s. Borneo is currently performing as an independent soloartist I Austin, Texas. Before traveling to the states he and his band «The paintbrushes» where playing in Norway, a project he will return to in the beginning of February. Besides playing music, Edvard is also a painter working together with an art collective called Welhaven Kollektiv. Loosely inspired by the surrealistic and expressionistic art tradition, his paintings are flowing over with colors never seen by the human eye.
