There are three rules to being a Tony: you can’t be named Tony, you must be living, and if you are not having a good time you’re in deep shit. Tony or Tony is at least two Tony’s, sometimes four. Tony or Tony is always, invariably, a party. Inspired by both the grit and the glam of their home base of New York City, Tony or Tony is a dynamic blend of The Prodigy, MGMT, and A.G Cook. They are ready to grab your attention with their fast & active mix of punk, indie-pop, and electronica.


Although they only have one single out, Tony or Tony has received praise from Dazed Mag, BBC6, and Ransom Note. They have performed at venues like Elsewhere, Mercury Lounge, Baby’s All Right, and supported acts such as Joy Again, Sitcom, Model/Actriz, Strange Ranger, and Blaketheman1000. Despite their brief career as a band, Tony or Tony have already caught the attention of New York’s “it” crowd with their over-the-top production and raucous live show. With their debut album slated for a 2023 release, Tony or Tony aspires to cheat death, become the new Johnny Appleseed to save the romantic core of America, and win the Super Bowl.
