About Oak & Shaw
- is an experimental etheric electro-pop duo based in Scandinavia. Their eclectic expression ranges from low-key ballads to pulsing beats tied together by porous vocals filled with longing.
Their first songs were written on ukulele and a dusty pump organ in a tiny cabin on the north west coast of Norway. Since then the music has developed into electronic landscapes where they now investigate the encounter between acoustic, analog and digital processes.Through recent years they have played at Nordic House Reykjavik, Teater S/H, Sånafest Performancefestival, Teater Får302, Absalon and composed for performance and theatre projects.
