Queenie is a very charismatic and powerful performer. Her voice is amazing and the songs are very well crafted. The band display expert musicianship, the drummer is amazing! I especially like "Not Divine" & "Mama" which the band played. The Frankston Waterfront location was very well set up. A huge stage and very large open area to watch the bands. Plenty of food and drink available. Unfortunately the weather on the day was a bit of a letdown, being a little cold and overcast, nonetheless and excellent performance from an undoubtedly stellar band of the future.

Brilliant! A commanding, captivating, and energetic performance by someone blessed with a rare power and emotion in her voice. Her band also well and truly delivered the goods.

About Queenie
Queenie; the trash queen alter-ego of Melbourne musician Eloise Thetford (ex Héloise, Bone Shack and Badgers), is a fearless performer who wears her heart on her sleeve. Her live shows shake, shudder and smoulder with fiery charisma and freewheeling stagecraft when she’s performing with her band; a Rogues’ gallery of Melbourne’s finest musicians. Beneath all the sizzle, though, is a unique and powerful voice: tender one moment and visceral the next, Queenie can soar from Emmy-Lou Harris to Mariah Carey at the drop of a hat, launching her deeply emotive songwriting into the stratosphere like a rocket strapped to a Cadillac.
