My Life at the Bottom of the Ocean

From the depths of the global pandemic emerged a band determined to conquer the seven seas. My Life at the Bottom of the Ocean was that band. Formed in July of 2022, "My Life" is a 2 piece indie-punk band hailing from Chicago, IL. Their music combines the high energy of punk and hardcore music with the melodic sensibilities, technical guitar-playing, and heartfelt lyricism of modern emo music.

Longtime friends Kevin LaBarbera (Guitar/Vocals) and Connor Rudny (Drums, Percussion) make up the composition of the group. For only being a 2 man operation, their sound is massive, and their stage presence is undeniable. Drawing influences from bands like Title Fight, Circa Survive, and Radiohead, "My Life" is a melting pot of sounds, ideas, and inspirations.
