About Somehow Sorry

Lorraine (aka Rain) and John McCarthy are American Musicians/Singer Songwriters.
They are noted for the "When" album as performing artist D’Vine Ryte.
"Pear" and "Fit To Be Tied," as performing artist, Somehow Sorry.
Their current project Somehow Sorry formed in 2003 with band members, Paul Maugeri on Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals. James Bosko on drums and percussion. The Somehow Sorry CD; Fit to be Tied is available for digital download or CD purchase from itunes.com, CDBaby.com, Amazon.com and many digital download stores.
Somehow Sorry performs with all members for larger venues, and rock clubs.
In the early days, Lorraine fronted a band called D’Vine Ryte. In 1994 DVR was signed to Road Runner Records and toured with Niño Bettencourt, Warrant, Missing Persons, and Hughie Lewis, during the mid-90's. Band Members: Lorraine Lisa, Vocals & Keyboards. Robert Henderson, Lead Guitar, John McCarthy, Rhythm Guitar and Backing Vocals, Brian McGovern Bass Guitar, and Bill Hoey, Drums. The When album sold over 250,000 copies in the US and is available in MP3 form from their website. On the heels of their success with a second album release and tours lined up in Europe and Australia; D’Vine Ryte, lost a founding member Brian McGovern on Sept. 8th 2001 to a lifelong childhood disease, which quickly ended the eleven year run of D’Vine Ryte.

After the demise of D'Vine Ryte, McCarthy and Lisa decided to start writing and performing under The Shits and Giggles Band, circa 2003. With the addition of rock solid drummer Jim Bosko the trio set out to find their bass player. They didn't have to look too far as Lorraine's eldest nephew a guitar player by trade was eager to fill the missing piece. With the release of their first CD a demo by the name of Pear, the group decided on the more fitting name of "Somehow Sorry."
