MASHEENA was started by a group of friends in 2021, and 1979 was the first song they rehearsed and recorded. It’s the song that made them say to themselves: "We’re on to something here!"
Combined, the members have over 100 years of service between them in hard-rocking bands like IMMORTAL, ABBATH, I, ROYAL ROOSTER, LOST AT LAST and ST SATAN.
