The Bygones

This concert was a birthday present to my almost 17 year old son. He has been listening to Josh Turner for the past five years as well as Miss Allison. I bought one extra ticket so he could bring a friend that he often plays guitar and banjo with. The boys and I got in line outside early and had front row seats once the doors opened. The evening was more than we could have hoped for. Hearing these wonderful artists live and up close brought so much life to their songs. Thank you for this opportunity.

The band was fantastic. I was at the early entry VIP session and really enjoyed the time to chat with Josh and Allison. They are really nice, chatted briefly about their time in Europe and the "glamor" of being on the road. Did a couple of songs for us up close and personal, then signed some merchandise. The only detraction from the experience was the staff loudly filling ice bins with pails of ice while we were listening to them talk and do their songs. The Biltmore....the seating of course has no views, and initially they indicated seats would not be set up. So we all assumed our positions on the floor, then as the place was filling they decided they WOULD bring chairs down, so then there was mass confusion as some people got their own chairs while some waited. We ended up being pushed well out of the initial near front position we'd taken as early arrivers. The show was amazing, the venue needs to get organized.

We saw them in London, Bush Hall. What an experience. It was a blast. Great harmonies, fantastic voices.

This was a lovely evening, they are just so good together. Their blended harmonies soared and their voices were spot on

Clean environment, great acoustics and performance by The Bygones and Rob Barnet was top notch. Shame The Bygones didnt run their merch dedk at the end and hsve a chance to speak with the fans.

Superb, peerless music and performance from two musicians playing with sheer joy. Loved it!

One of the masters of guitar, spanning all genres, and a vocalist with a magnificent voice. It doesn't get better than this. Harmony is the true power of music, and The Bygones have it.

Top quality performance. Best song writing, cover song choice, harmonies, and instrumentation. I want to see this show again.

The Bygones are incredible! Top level singing and playing. Being that this was a smaller venue, it was a very intimate show. Josh and Allison were very interactive with the crowd and had us entranced the whole evening. Highly recommend catching one of their shows.

I highly recommend this exceptionally talented duo Joshua has a wonderful voice, and Allison’s voice gave me chills. Even better, was their haunting harmonies, which really separates this band from most contemporary musicians. Joshua’s incredible adeptness on the guitar, blew me away. And I came away from this concert, knowing I had been in the presence of greatness.

More than loved it - they performed and sang beautifully. It would have been more perfect if they added the song “Crazy”. Absolutely fantastic 💕💕

Stunning intimate show. Allison has such an amazing ability to control her voice to perfectly suit the mood and tone of the song. Her gentile guitar work adds the perfect backing to the group. Josh's guitar work may as well be a third voice in the band; tonally luscious and sweet, and rips in all the right moments. Paired with his actual voice, silky smooth, the duo is a must-see. The AMH was a fantastic venue as well. We had arguably the worst seats in the house, and while the sound was a bit quiet up there, the view and service was perfect, even in the most intimate moments of the show.

Let me start by saying I LOVE Josh and Allison!! I have been watching them on Youtube for a few years and thoroughly enjoy their collaborations. I was looking very forward to seeing them live. I post this experience in the hopes they see it, learn from it and use it to improve future performances. 1) When I purchased tickets 6 months ago, there was only a single type of ticket offered - standing. When I arrived at the venue there was seating that had been sold somewhere - all of the seats were in front of me. I would have liked to have had the option to purchase seats. 2) I have watched A LOT of Josh's videos (and saw him perform live 1 other time with Carson, Reina & Toni - which was otherworldly AWESOME!) - he appears to be very particular with the other artists he works with in his videos as well as very on top of all the details. I am sorry to say the opening act at this show was considerably underwhelming - not bad, but not close to "Josh level". She was hard to listen to for the almost 1 hour that she played. The audience gave her a couple of cues that it was time to finish which she completely misread and continued playing. 3) I most came to hear Josh and Allison sing. The volume of the instruments imo were too loud and during much of the show overpowered Josh and Allison's voices. That all said, I will finish as I started - I still love Josh and Allison and support their music and growth.

Superior musicians! Just voices, guitars, and one ukulele. No studio trickery--just pure, wonderful vintage and new material. My highest recommendation!

This was an outstanding concert! Josh and Alison are amazing musical talents, and their voices and instrumental work mesh beautifully. They played for almost 2.5 hours, with a short intermission, with just the right amount of talking to the audience. Most of the songs they played were their own, and each one was great. The venue was outstanding as well - intimate with terrific audio and sightlines. It was a perfect evening!

The Bur Oak was a good, intimate venue. The real stars were obviously The Bygones. as good as their you tube videos are, they pale in comparison to seeing them live. The music was awesome, they were comfortable chatting with the audience, and we will go see them again in a heartbeat the next time they play in the area.

Outstanding performance! Nice mix of old favorites with new material from their just released album. Be prepared to stand at Martyrs' which has about 20 stools for a ~300 capacity room.

Fantastic show - great to see these artists at the beginning of a great career together - their appreciation of the crowd, coupled with their immense talent made it a very memorable experience!!! Can’t wait to see them again!
