About Solarend

Hailing from the Brainerd Lakes Area, Minnesota, comes Solarend.

Formed in 2019, from the ashes of other bands, Solarend consists of Josh Mohr on vocals, Vincent Verroust on guitars, Zach Libera on drums, and Adam Syverson on bass.

With all members being veterans at their craft, they took the better part of 3 years to create their debut album, Subhuman Born. After running into an instability in the lineup, Zach, Vincent, and Josh, enlisted Matt McGee to play bass for the album in 2021. Then came COVID and various other setbacks that should've made them call it a day. But they persevered and stormed forward crafting this album.

Within the album there are 4 songs (The Summit, The Valley, La Ronde Des Putréfiés, and The Loss) that are one story. A story set in medieval times, about the fight for land, and territory. Through the bloodshed we see that when the war is over, there is nothing left but bodies for the crows to pick apart.

There is a bleak tone with Subhuman Born. An inescapable one. Be ready to have the heavy, fast, and story telling
