The BAND LOULA

The Band Loula will be a name you’ll wish you knew before everyone else finds out about them. Malachi’s vocals are only matched by his pen, an “old soul” as they say, I feel as though he’s lived far much longer than he’d have us believe. Logan has a powerful, soulful voice that I couldn’t put my finger on until tonight. She sounds like a cross between Lulu Roman. (knows for her powerful vocals as showcased on Hee-Haw & later in Gospel music, & soulful female artist Bonnie Raitt.) The compliment one another perfectly. The Primrose Social in Historic Buford was the perfect, intimate setting for this sold out show. A “listening room” event, The Band Loula played hours of original material, raw, bare, stripped down to Malachi’s guitar, & each gave their storytellers’ take on how the song was written, what each song means to them, & the message they hoped each song would convey to the listener. I recommend if you ever get the opportunity to hear them live, DO NOT HESITATE.
