𝟒𝐭𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐢𝐜𝐡
Punk rock and hardcore punk band that emerged in Caracas, Venezuela in mid-1983 formed by Juan Ignacio Morasso (guitar, vocals), Angel Pineda (guitar, backing vocals), Guillermo Méndez (bass) Mauricio Cepeda (drums), and Kike Poleo (Guitar). It is one of the pioneering bands within this musical trend in Venezuela and its presentations strengthen it as one of the essential bands in the underground scene of the Venezuelan capital, alternating with bands that in the following years would become key in the rock scene in Venezuela (Sentimiento Muerto, Desorden Público, Zapato 3, Seguridad Nacional). In a cassette format and independently they recorded their first demo: Cerdo (1985) distributed mainly in their presentations. Despite the level of recognition of the group, they separate without leaving any official record. For the year 1995 Juan Ignacio Morasso, Angel Pineda, and Guillermo Méndez met with the drummer Omar Fernández and after making some presentations they recorded a new independent demo titled 85-95 (1995). The publication in 2019 of the book "Previous Education, the incomplete history of Venezuelan Punk", which allocates a few pages to the 4th Reich, makes Juan Ignacio, Guillermo, Mauricio, Kike, and Angel, decide to regroup again, re-record, and master songs during 2020/2022, So far 4 EPs: Me vale Verga, Le Cochon est Mort, Vamos Ya! and Greetings from Carakistan
The band has dedicated itself to the production and editions of DIY videos.
