About Deskjobs
The brainchild of New Jersey musician Drew Connelly, Deskjobs emerged in 2019 after almost two decades embedded in the PA hardcore, punk, and metal scenes. Influenced by the poppier side of 2nd wave emo and 90s rock, as well as his own classical training, Drew brings a guitar-driven, lyrically irreverent blend of indie and emo rock infused with a dash of suburban ennui. With one EP already charting on the college Top 100 and licensing deals secured with MTV, NASCAR, Discovery, and more, Deskjobs is poised to release two more EPs in 2024, starting with I Could Sleep Tonight in March.
