I could listen to Ally Row harmonies all day; love their songs, each with hooks that stick in your head... and the stories with great lyrics... favourite duo by far! :)

About ALLY ROW

Currently based in Gippsland, Ally Row are an indie pop-folk rock duo, changing the narrative of what it means to be truly 'indie pop-folk rock'. Multi-instrumentalists, they perform velvety vocal harmonies alongside blissful guitar and piano, with lustful and modernised elements of banjo, harmonica and stomp box.

Always with a strong hook, their original material evokes a dreamy and synergistic mix of emotive song-making and story-telling. And for the Mumford and Sons, The Civil Wars, Sons of the East, Angus and Julia Stone and Of Monsters and Men fans out there.... Ally Row are the next artists to follow.

The duo recently completed their latest tour of the East Coast after booked out 2022 and 2023 schedules. And with regular radio appearances on Triple M Gippsland and ABC Gippsland Ally Row has seen stunning growth in 2023… winners of the busking competition in the prized Port Fairy Festival Street Fair, successful releases of their "Bare feet" and "The King is Just a Clown" singles and headline acts at the Patchewollock Folk Festival and Wodonga Food & Wine Festival.

There were more major news announcements late in 2023 for Ally Row... they were finalists
to represent Melbourne, Victoria at the Airlie Beach Music Festival in November, were Triple J Winners to open the NYE On The Hill Festival and were part of the official lineup in December-January at Woodford Folk Festival, one of the largest annual folk festivals in Australia.

Kicking off 2024 in style, Ally Row were among the top buskers at the annual Tamworth Country Music Festival and went on to open for Golden Guitar Winner Fanny Lumsden on her Country Halls Tour at Wilby in Victoria. In March they will appear at the Solar Sessions Event in Nowa Nowa with the talented Kim Churchill.

All up 2024 is a big year, with a number of new release singles scheduled, starting with "I Got Mine" on February 27... multiple playlists and radio station plays/interviews... and it has been announced they are also semi-finalists in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) for their 2023 single 'Bare feet' - a great competition with famed judges including Mariah Carey and Tom Waits.
