Nohe & Sus Santos

Nohe & Sus Santos haven’t sat idle during the pandemic. They released their debut CD, the at once subtle, intense, completely sublime "Tempestad". Their music was heard in the film "¿Dónde Está La Cigueña?" and Multi-talented vocalist Nohelia Sosa had a role in the hilarious film "Half Brothers".

The five-piece mixes musical traditions/rhythms of the Americas with alt-rock en espanol, cumbia, and pop. They’ve shared stages with the likes of Ozomatli, The Red Pears, Samatha Fish, and more, delivering performances full of soul, passion and attitude, leaving dancing crowds chanting “una más!”. RootsWorld enthused “Behold a conjunto with enormous potential… Eloquent”

Featuring musicians from Honduras and US, their songs do more than cross language and cultural borders. They explore the multicultural experience of a new Latinx generation, delivering positive messages of self-identification and respect for heritage.

Celebrated Honduran vocalist Nohelia Sosa is joined by Her Santos: string wizard Randy Sanchez (guitars, tres), the band’s pulse, Gilbert Uribe (bass), impeccable groove master Dennis Jasso (drums) and Jesse Joaquin Parker adding magic on congas, percussion and keys..

The Santos will release their new Double A-Side Single "Muerte Bonita" b/w " Otro Lado" - produced by Ozomatli’s Raul Pacheco - on April 7, 2023. They are back out on the road bringing their tempestad to national and international audiences (confirmed dates at Flushing Town Hall, Fiesta Latin, Hillside Fest and more).
