About KEEPER (UK)
Keeper is a hyper-pop/alternative rock artist from London, UK.
With a foot in both the "Scene" and "PC Music" worlds, Keeper remains true to his post-hardcore roots with guitar-driven riffs, metalcore-style drumming, and huge pop choruses, while still embracing the new wave of internet-based music such as glitchcore, emo-rap, and hyper-pop. This blend creates a modern twist on the guitar-based music of the 2000s.
Drawing inspiration from hyper-pop artists like Brakence and Dorian Electra and alternative bands such as Pierce The Veil and Neck Deep, Keeper has firmly established his niche and is running with it.
After releasing his debut EP in 2020, which reached around 50,000 listeners worldwide, Keeper has since dropped several other tracks, including Here We Go, I Don't Even Know Myself featuring TMDistant, and Better Off. These have become some of his most popular songs to date, garnering attention from radio stations such as BBC Radio 1, Idobi Radio, DCR FM, and BBC Introducing. He has also been featured in press outlets like Alternative Press, New Noise Magazine, Music-News, and Clash Magazine. The latter described him as "A rebel-pop hero with equal footing in the hyper-pop and alt realms. Keeper joins the dots between Enter Shikari, say, and Glaive."
Spending much of 2024 focusing on his craft, Keeper has been writing and collaborating behind the scenes. Teaming up with producer Jon Cass (As Everything Unfolds), and fellow artists Synsy, Tally Spear, among others, to create what is shaping up to be his most cohesive and arguably best work yet.
His new EP, Cabin Fever, is anticipated to be released in late 2025. The first single, Taste It, will be released on 11 February.
