About COHOST
The Neo-Soul, Funk, Pop outfit from Nashville, Tn is singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer James Templeton and multi-instrumentalist Chris Collins. They set out to make an album that has vibe and that is fun. COHOST was born out of a desire to find joy and reposture our heart. After 25+ years of brotherhood and playing in numerous bands together, COHOST is the culmination of our lives lived and wanting to create music that makes people smile, that makes us smile!
The journey began, of all places, in a bathroom and an upstairs bedroom during covid. Fast forward to today, a 12 song Album is set to be released later this year. Inspired by the sounds of early Commodores, The Bee Gees, Bohannon (disco drummer wiz), and a love for pop melodies they found their vibe.
