Brigitte Calls Me Baby

Brigitte Calls Me Baby was amazing as were SKORTS. That was the best concert I have ever been to in regards to vocalists where both the opening band and the headlining band were both so fantastic.

Great band, lead singer has an incredible voice! The whole band sounds amazing live, very talented and polished together. The opening band, Skorts, was also great, will be checking out their music.

Right up front and center! It was a very intimate show and probably one of my favorite ones I've ever been to! being able to chat with them after the show and have my setlist and vinyl signed by them! even the other attendees were a blast to chat with over a shared interest in this group, very fun!

The guys were in fine form! Sounded as crisp as ever and made it a memorable night for all.

Real shame about the constant feedback issues in the early songs that clearly annoyed Wes, but the performance was exactly what you'd expect from the lads, excellent 👍

Phenomenal band, should be HUGE! Lead singer, Wes, has an incredible voice, combine this with catchy tunes and you’re in for a treat. Think of the sound of the Strokes, the Smiths etc with a voice like Elvis/Roy Orbison.

The boys are back in town! A celebration for all that they have accomplished and they put on a hell of a show. Can’t wait to listen to the new album they teased!

I've seen this band twice in the last 30 days or so. Both shows were great. The band sounds fantastic, vocals are superb, and stage presence is very good. Great original material. I hope these guys have a long, successful run.

These guys are fantastic. They sound great live and have a very good stage presence. I love the way the band blends a lot of styles and influences into their own unique sound, and the songwriting is excellent. I'm 57 years old and a product of the post-punk and new wave era. Love these guys. I happen to have a trip to Chicago planned for the weekend of their June show and I'm definitely going to make plans to see it. Love these guys!

Saw them in San Diego in July at HOB’s with a friend and last night brought my wife to see them at the Wiltern. Great band…wish them much success!

Wes has one of the greatest voices I've ever heard live. Also super nice person. 11/10 would rate higher if I could!!!

Both bands were absolutely electrifying and magical. Absolutely would see both Boxing Day and Brigitte Calls Me Baby again!! I've been a fan of BCMB for a few months now and it's always amazing to see a favorite artist so close. Their sound is derivative of many, like the Smiths, New Order, and even some Elvis, but very clearly their own. Their personal style of onstage dress is so unique and fun and makes for great atmosphere. Most importantly, every band member clearly has so much talent and has obviously put in a lot of work. Even if you don't like new wave or genres similar, I recommend seeing BCMB just for the experience of seeing them play so well! As for Boxing Day, they had so much energy!! This band as well has so much talent; my friend noted how well they played together. The drummer and lead singer especially stood out as absolute powerhouses of music. Also, a trumpet?! Rarely see that in indie bands anymore! Vibe is similar to Car Seat Headrest or Neutral Milk Hotel, but again, definitely their own. I look forward to see how these two bands grow and find success!

Brigitte Calls Me Baby is a great band, delivering another electrifying performance. I wasn't happy with the sound mix, however. It was too loud, and I was mostly getting thumping bass and loud guitar. I wasn't getting much mid-range where I was standing. I could barely hear the singer, which is deeply unfortunate, since that is the band's single best feature. I noticed the venue has large speaker towers on the right and left sides, but nothing in the middle. When I saw Brigitte at 7th Street Entry, it was a more intimate venue, they had a center speaker and the volume and mix were FAR superior. If I was less satisfied than at the Entry, I don't blame the band for that; I blame the venue! Come on, guys, give us a little better balance than this.

This band, wow, keep the sun glasses on and I can't wait to see you on the big stage at lolla!

They're one of the best bands I've heard in a long time. I loved there show. Cafe Du Nord is a small intimate room where you can get right in front of the place. I expect this band to really take off, so you probably won't get too many more chances to see them in such an intimate show.

These guys are on their way to BIG THINGS. So happy I was able to see them live in the wonderfully intimate setting at The Moroccan before they start playing in stadiums. The Moroccan is such a great venue. We were able to talk to the band members after the show. Great group of guys. Looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for Brigitte Calls Me Baby!!

Elvis 2.0? Voice was as good as the produced music! Definitely catching these guys again, and please make a vinyl with that upcoming EP!! Also, The Weekend Run Club and Capital Soirée rocked it out. All-in-all, a great night of live music!
