Nathaniel Carroll & the Party Line

Nathaniel Carroll (aka "NC") is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist performing piano-driven pop, dad-rock, punk, and folk music across the U.S. since 2003. The Party Line is a rotating cast of musicians and concert attendees who sing and shake along.

NC has performed with Midwest emo legends like Bob Nanna (Braid, Hey Mercedes, The City on Film) and Mike Kinsella (Owen), new power-pop icons The Dreaded Laramie, and has performed over 200 shows across the US.

The July 22, 2025 album "IMPOSTER" features collaborations and contributions from Daniel G. Harmann, Ben Barnett of Kind of Like Spitting, Grammy-winning engineer Dave Hagen (Keb Mo, Darkhorse Studios), and is mastered by David Jerkovich (Novi Split, Kind of Like Spitting, Balboa Recording Co.).

NC is also a current member of the art rock band Righting, and contributes vocals to Blue Herring, "the best opening band in St. Louis." Long ago, NC played drums and keys in Faatherton, and in Springfield, MO band Jesse James Wax Museum.

By day, NC is a civil rights attorney at a non-profit in St. Louis, Missouri.
