Bo Johnson

This was our first time at Kickstand. We loved the venue, seating was intimate and the staff were welcoming. We have seen several clip of Bo Johnson doing stand-up. We loved the show. Bo was workshopping some of his jokes and that was a fun component of the show. He's talented and personable. The Cameo video clips were a fun bonus feature of the show.

Bo Johnson is hilarious. His jokes were spot-on for the audience, including local references. He is amazing with audience interruptions, humorously but kindly turning it back on the disrupters and making it a running joke through the show. I could have listened and laughed with him for another hour. He's great - definitely worth seeing. The Tower Pizza stage is a very small, intimate outdoor setting, but great for the audience to be up close to the performers. Good food and alcohol are served before and during the show by a fast, friendly wait staff. In good weather it's the perfect place to be with friends and watch the sunset in beautiful surroundings.

Good stories, funny jokes and clever enough to improv and pivot as needed to engage the crowd. He is also adorable, friendly and approachable, just like he said, “… a golden retriever in a Mormon’s body.”

Bo was amazing. Funny, charming and ever so invested in his fans. The venue was good!

Great show Clean humor 3 of us drove to Sacramento to see Bo it was 4 hour round trip maybe a little more for my sister and nephew. Traffic was crap but worth the trip to finally see Bo in person. I’ve been watching him for awhile. I love his humor!! It was a great evening!
