About Kaza kid
With sounds that range from Hip-Hop, R&B Soul, Alternative Jazz and hints of funk, Toronto-based and Nigerian born artist Kaza Kid has drawn much inspiration from several world-renowned stars over the years. From the likes of Ty Dolla Sign, Kendrick Lamar, Goldlink, Linkin Park, Stormzy and more; Kaza graces us with heavy hitting baselines, intricate melodies, raw executions, thought provoking verses and catchy hooks that keep listeners engaged and wanting more.
Kaza's past year has been showered with accolades in the early stages of his career, through a vigilant work ethic while perfecting his craft. He has been known to display high energy and charisma on-stage at venues in Toronto such as 'The Grand Gerrard Theatre' and 'The Smiling Buddha' in the later months of 2019. After his debut Album 'Genesis of The Black Sheep' and follow-up EPs 'Brainstorming' & 'All Smiles in 10' in the same year, Kaza's latest project in September of 2020, now scaling over 100,000+ streams on Spotify, has been a true spectacle of his work so far.
Having been nominated for 'Best Rap Song' under 'The Wammie Awards' as a collaborator on Sean-Michael's record 'Swim' in January 2020 to featuring on 'TrapxArt's Digital Magazine' issued on July 1st, 2021), it's safe to say Kaza can only continue to accomplish and exceed higher heights in the future years of his career.
Stay Tuned. Still Believe.
