Emerging from the bubbling music scene in Leicester, (alongside the likes of Sainté, bb, RJ and more - all of whom are friends), Causier’s rise coincides with a huge cultural moment for the small Midlands city. Inspired by a hugely diverse array of artists, ranging from the trailblazers he grew up listening to like Prince, Jeff Buckley and The Beatles as well as contemporary artists like Brent Faiyaz, Noname and Vegyn, Causier’s stamp on the zeitgeist sounds refreshingly forward-thinking.
