Saint Peter's Thursday

Saint Peter’s Thursday are a dirty grunge trio that emerged from the dimly lit streets of Christchurch some time in the midst of 2014. Their mutual love of Queen of The Stone Age, The Arctic Monkeys and all things Weezer can be heard and seen in their music as well as live performance. Saint Peters Thursday embraces the haunting voice and outrageous guitar destruction of Anand Yoganathan, the brooding despicable bass tones of Aaron Wildermoth and the ear-bursting cacophony of drum sounds laid down by Sam Lane.

This trio takes no prisoners

Performing with local legends Pieces of Molly, Dolphin Friendly and The Preservatives, Saint Peter’s Thursday have been steadily creating their own cult following in the sodden streets of Christchurch.
