Widely Grown

Widely Grown is a new band from “one of Hudson County’s most engaging singer-songwriters'' (NJ.com). Widely Grown is the inevitable sound that culminates from living a year without a permanent home. Traveling cross country with his wife and a dog in a tiny Subaru, Calleo spent 2020 camping in the Appalachian Mountains, spending starry nights out in Big Horn National Forest, and swimming in the cold waters of the Northern Pacific Coast. The pull towards Roots, Rock and Americana became as natural as the moon tugging at the tide. From those roots emerged thoughtful storytelling accompanied by a widely grown band of musicians across New Jersey.
