About Sheril Shaw
Sheril (SHE-RIL) Shaw
Sheril Shaw has been singing from a young age, although her earliest memories of singing are that of her hiding from the stage. Her path lead her to discover her passion for music when her Church choir director coached her in her first lead solo. She since has had many singing opportunities, which include singing on various media platforms such as radio and television. Since 2017 Sheril has been blessed to have been able to sing at the Junos, Canada 150th, and the NAC. She has also had the privilege of backing the Arkells, Buffy St. Marie, Michele Cousins, Dion Taylor and Diana Ross while singing with the Academy choir. Most recently Sheril had the opportunity to co-headline her first feature at the NAC Fourth Stage. Sheril’s passion and musical style is gospel mixed with various genres. And her passion is to spread the message of love, hope and peace through songs.
Where Sheril once ran away from the stage, she now embraces every opportunity to share the gift of music and the chance to encourage others through song. Her aim is to continue to follow the lead of God and walk in her purpose and passion.
