About KAIRO

KAIRO is a Nigerian-born, Houston-raised, LA-based duo comprised of identical twin brothers, Ak and Ej.

Following the release of their first two EPs 'Love Letters From Houston' and 'Return to Sender' in 2022, KAIRO partnered with Def Jam to release their debut album 'ARE WE THERE YET?', slated for release Fall 2024.

As young black men and immigrants, KAIRO is aware of their unique position in the music industry. They want to represent expansion: from genre to borders to boundaries.

“We haven’t seen kids that look like us in this pop/alt scene. It’s time!”
