Kaylee Ludiker is a Midwestern singer-songwriter living in Austin, TX. Although the instrumentation of her songs feature acoustic instruments, her jazz and R&B vocal style lends a soulful touch to an already interesting sound brought to life by Dennis Ludiker - a well-known fiddle and mandolin player, and founding member of Progressive Bluegrass band MilkDrive, longtime member of South Austin Jug Band (fiddle, mandolin 2002-2009) and Asleep at the Wheel (fiddle, mandolin 2015-2022). As the main instrumentalist and lead producer for Kaylee Ludiker, her songs and the duo’s co-writes sometimes defy traditional genre boundaries, and sometimes honor them.
