About FiNE
As with most siblings, twin brothers Craig and Darren Fine share an unbreakable lifelong bond. But few people in the world have embarked on the type of journey that these brothers have undertaken in their life; a unique set of experiences that have rounded them into individuals
and musical artists like no other.
Purveyors of the Progressive Afro House genre, the FiNE sound is the result of the unique musical influences the brothers have been exposed to throughout the years. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Craig and Darren soon relocated to Botswana where they spent their
early schooling years. As one of the few expatriates in Botswana, the brothers stuck closely together while fully embracing the unique local customs, culture, and music. The boys showed early musical prowess, growing up playing steelpans and marimba's and performing concerts at
the local international school which featured Craig on drums and Darren on keyboards.
While still in High School, Craig and Darren relocated to Sydney, Australia where they were immersed in the thriving local electronic music scene. The next stop on their journey took them to Tel Aviv where they landed a day job while honing their fresh and eclectic sound in the city’s pulsing underground scene, playing in every venue and festival the city had to offer including the main stage at Corona Sunsets Festival in 2019. Following their success overseas and with an abundance of international support, the brothers returned to Australia performing coast to coast at the country's hottest venues before relocating to their current home in Los Angeles.
Armed with a sound all their own, FiNE has dominated the Melodic and Afro House charts with a string of top 10 Beatport releases including a remix of Paul Oakenfold and Aloe Blacc’s smash 'I’m In Love', and their chart-topping debut 'Forbidden Fruit' EP on Australia's coveted label,
Recovery Collective. Most recently, FiNE celebrated the November 2022 release of their newest single, ‘Cloud 9’ on Recovery Collective. The original is a glorious slice of FiNE’s signature Progressive Afro House; melodic, driving, and euphoric but with a sharp edge. A remix package
features interpretations of the single from Kalil, Elliott Creed, and Jack Colletta.
With an incomparable sound, world-class records and depth of musical and life experiences unlike most producers, FiNE has an “it factor” that will soon have everyone aboard the Progressive Afro House train.
