Shaylee James

Shaylee James a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter who grew up on a ranch in south Texas. She’s been blessed to experience a true ranch life enjoying the outdoors with hunting and fishing. She began playing piano at a young age and shortly thereafter realized her true passion was playing guitar and singing. She has always dreamed of pursuing music as her profession.
Shaylee’s heart being rooted in country highlighted with classic rock is a reflection of her true soul seen in the various songs she writes, plays, and sings. Shaylee has been inspired by many great artists; ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Toby Keith, Hank Williams Jr., Jimi Hendrix, Van Halen, David Allen Coe, George Strait and many more.

Shaylee believes that it is a “true blessing” to be able to perform and do what she loves best. She’s had the opportunity to play many shows and support many legendary artists Ted Nugent, Doug Stone, Bart Crow, Terri Clark, Shenandoah and others.

Shaylee has and will continue to make her mark in music as an artist staying steadfast to her roots. While being known for her enthusiastic spirit, and sultry, intense voice, she loves performing and entertaining audiences at live performances. She loves performing at benefits especially supporting veterans and giving back to others and the community. Not only does she invite audience interaction, but often impresses with her signature hats and unique outfits.
