About La Nausée
La Nausée is a new sludge metal project hailing from Ghent, Belgium. Inspired by Belgian bands STAKE, DRUMS ARE FOR PARADES and BEAR, but also influenced by international acts IRON MONKEY, BLACK TUSK and DEFTONES a heavy and dirty guitar sound is being driven by distorted vocals. The drums pushing the songs forward relentlessly with frequent tempo changes.
Here are the first reactions in the media on the release of ‘SPLIT’:
-La Nausée have released an unbelievably heavy new sludge monster of a song called “Split”. It kind of reminds me of Black Tusk channelling White Zombie, just completely devilish and infectious but clobbering riff patterns with an extra aggro vocal intensity as the cherry on top! @Morgan Y Evans – METAL RIOT-
