King Ojem

King Ojem is a Nigerian-born rapper, singer, and songwriter whose music fuses hip-hop, alternative rap, R&B, and Afro influences into emotionally charged narratives. Raised in Lagos in a devout Christian household, his earliest encounters with music came through the church choir at age 10, while his father’s diverse record collection shaped his eclectic ear. These early experiences sparked a lifelong passion for storytelling through sound, setting the foundation for his artistry.

He first introduced audiences to his sound in 2019 with Yung Dxcksn, a bold reinterpretation that marked his arrival. By 2023, King Ojem began releasing original works—PIM PIM (nerveless), newbie, and favorite high—each capturing a distinct side of his persona. These records established him as a genre-bending artist unafraid to explore themes of love, exuberance, heartbreak, and indulgence while delivering music that resonates with a global audience.
