Rod Coote is an Australian indie-folk singer & songwriter who blends his honest, heartfelt lyrics with the strings of an acoustic guitar and intertwined with a soft bed of vocal harmonies. From this, Rod has established his unique dreamy indie-folk/pop sound that has naturally connected with listeners both in Australia and internationally across the globe.


After pairing up with folk producer & artist Garrett Kato, Rod's latest release 'Easy to Love' received national airplay on both Australian radio stations Triple J and on Triple J Unearthed, with host Nkechi Anele confessing his heartfelt lyrics 'makes your heart crumble into a thousand pieces", comparing his dreamy indie-folk sound to the similar likes of Ben Howard, Bon Iver & Dustin Tebbutt.

His latest single 'Wild Pine', is a sentimental, stripped back song he cathartically wrote following the sudden passing of his beloved grandfather & captures the raw feeling of losing someone loved.
