The orokohanga (or origins) of the mighty duo TJ & Huri - like a love story in 2017 they met,
played music, and realised they were actually good together. Jamming covers one night they
decided to post a video to social media, went to bed and woke to over 60,000 views overnight

and a full inbox.

Influenced by the early years such as, George Baker, Joe Satriani, country music and those old
school tunes of the 70s, 80s, 90s the duo’s setlist is the perfect party, the ideal road trip and the

vibes we all love and relate to.

With videos reaching over 840,000 views via social media platforms and 50+ well produced and
recorded live music videos, these two from the Bay of Plenty have been invited and performed
all across Aotearoa, New Zealand with an ever growing fan base extending worldwide.

Without that song I don’t think I would have ever pushed myself to get better at guitar. Satriani
made me realise there is so much more potential to the instrument than I had initially thought
Huri - I am a huge fan of country music, this is a real hard question as I have many, but one can
only be chosen therefore my favorite song of all time is Baby Blue by George Baker

Huri - Respect your elders as they hold they key and knowledge of yesterday
TJ - Plan for 100 years time, live like you won’t see tomorrow.
