Soundslikeotto

Soundslikeotto is an indie electropop band, formed in a 9x9 studio-slash-bedroom in Detroit.

They wrote their first song together in fall of 2020, and over the next few months, never having all been in the same room at once, they finished a small collection of songs through mostly facetime calls and zoom sessions.

Their debut EP, coming fall of 2021, follows the creative evolution of the band’s personality and individual influences, bringing together groovy, rhythmic guitar riffs, anthemic arpeggiation, and a Tears-For-Fears-esque nostalgia for an electronic synth -- all paired with painfully honest, storytelling lyricism that reflects on the human experience of navigating love and change.
