Danno Simpson

Danno Simpson is a young, incredibly talented, and original artist with an edgy, soulful Americana vibe. He and Wes Barlow performed in Huntsville, TX, at a tough venue on a particularly challenging night—right before finals week, with a large, young college crowd more focused on their screens and Snapchat photos than the live music happening around them. Despite the distractions and some rough feedback from the PA system, Danno and Wes delivered an impressive, professional performance. They pushed through a tough set with grit and grace—true pros at their craft. I’m really looking forward to seeing both of these guys again soon. I also want to be clear that this isn’t a knock on the venue—the staff was professional in every interaction. This was a late addition to the week’s schedule, and with more time to promote the show and avoid the competing noise of college night, the experience could have been even better.

Danno is one of the rawest and purest songwriters in todays scene. Everytime I’ve seen him he has progressed and continues to reach a new level of talent, which was high from the beginning. If you get an opportunity to see him , get up, get iut, get in and get down. He’ll be selling out large venues in no time and you’ll be glad you saw and witnessed his journey to greatness

Danno is an incredible songwriter, singer and musician. We have watched him perform live several times but last nights performance with a full band was amazing. We were lucky enough to grab a couple pictures with he and the fiddle player so we can say “we knew them when” because talent like this wont be doing $20 shows for long. They are destined to be a catalyst in changing mainstream faux country on the radio back to the story telling true country its meant to be.

Went mainly for Danno but all the performances were great. Danno has the voice of an angel, like a mix between Fergie and Jesus. If you ever get a chance to catch him live do so.

Danno is so good but with a full band…loved it!! The Barlow kills it every time too!
