Dub Tropico was formed by DJ Relic from the UK now based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil . DJ Relic previously lived in Kenya, where he was part of a collective called Umojah Soundsytem, who were the first authentic reggae sound system in East Africa. DJ Relic plays Reggae, Roots and Dub music all on vinyl, at major festivals and events. His vinyl collection is the result of 25 years of collecting and digging for rarities and classics.
Along with the Dub Tropico team, DJ Relic also produces music. Their aim is bring heavy vibrations to as many people as possible through their DJ sets, releasing music and through making sure that people also have easy access to great reggae, roots, and dub and knowledge through the Dub Tropico social media accounts.
