In The Heartland is a great band that showcases the classic songs of the Michael Stanley Band. If you are from Cleveland/Northern Ohio, there is a really good chance, you are familiar with MSB and seeing In The Heartland will bring you back to the sounds and memories of all of the MSB classics, from Rosewood Bitters to My Town. What an amazing show. While I think there are probably numerous classic rock cover bands all over the country dedicated to bands like The Eagles, Queen, Tom Petty, Bon Jovi, Bruce, etc., my guess is there are not too many that are strictly dedicated to the songs of the Michael Stanley Band. And with Danny Powers (former guitarist of MSB and Michael Stanley & The Resonators) leading this band, I would say they are definitely more that a cover band. They are truly keeping the MSB music alive, which is greatly appreciated! Would highly recommend seeing them whenever you can!
