Hailing from Minneapolis, twin brothers Wavi Blu & Baby Ro are the definition of “do it yourself.” In college, they recorded music in their dorm, while also studying screenwriting and directing. Drawing inspiration from the careers of Childish Gambino, Tyler, The Creator, Kid Cudi and Outkast, these two colorful, animated, and tongue-in-cheek-styled artists refuse to be put in a box.
Their debut mixtape, the “FreeTape, Vol. 1” is set to release in the summer of 2021.
