The actual show by Maverick City was really good. However, getting into the venue and getting back out was havoc. The security at the event were really rude and seemed to take advantage of the fact that people were there to praise God, we had 2 security guards who only selected colored people to leave a certain area and left everyone else there. The sound was quite bad, it took the team several attempts to get it right. Even then, we couldn't hear the best. They also did not show any words on the screen so we couldn't even read where the artist was on the song. We waited 7 hours for Maverick City to perform for 2.

The main attractions were on top of their game, but the opening acts suffered a great deal due to an issue with the system. The sound quality and media were very patchy to non-existent for some cases. Maverick was also affected but not as much as the earlier acts. It left much to be desired. For quite a bit of the afternoon/evening the crowd entertained themselves with music.

People turned out in large numbers but the show was below expectation; the sound was so poor that a large section of the audience had to complain until the equipment was disconnected and the problem worked on for about an hour.
Once the Maverick City Music came on stage, they didn't really give their best; it was as though they just wanted to show up - only playing short snippets of the songs that most of us resonate with. Naomi Raine gave her best and Kirk Franklin gave an outstanding performance as well.
We love you guys and I believe you saw that for yourselves - you have a strong fan base in South Africa! I hope next time you'll give us your best. To God be all the glory!

Holy Spirit filled concert that glorified Jesus Christ! The singers, the dance choir, and musicians were filled with God’s spirit, don’t lose that as the Lord takes you all from glory to glory in the industry. I beseech you, do not only entertain
Keep proclaiming Jesus! May the Holy Spirit fill your worship! Let all things that have breath praise the Lord, praise the Lord!

I should start by saying that I went to this concert twice in two different cities: the first time around, they weren't coming to my city, so I drove to the nearest city with my grandma. Then, they announced they were coming to my city, so we showed up and showed out!
It was an amazing evening and it opens your eyes when you see that you can have just as much fun dancing and singing to Christian music as you can worldly music - if not more. Kirk Franklin made the experience for me, but everyone involved was amazing.
I think there are some elements that make the concert longer than it needs to be. For instance, the opening act starts the show, and then a pastor or other representative comes out to give a mini-sermon leading into asking you to set up a recurring donation to Food for the Hungry. It seems like a great cause and I signed up the first time around, but it's very jarring when you're dancing and singing in an arena and then the lights go up while people are filling out forms for the organization. I think the whole break could be shorter but if not, there should be an attempt to digitize the Food for the Hungry donations - like the QR codes they show on the screens.
Ultimately, I had a great time and would go a third and fourth and fifth time with this lineup. But I might show up an hour and a half late so that I don't have to sit waiting for the show to start.

I loved the concert, but it felt more like a Kirk Franklin concert featuring Maverick City. I definitely would have enjoyed more of the Maverick City worship vibe than a Kirk Franklin entertainment show. I don't have any regrets going, but a little disappointed that it didn't feel like an actual Maverick City concert. I would have also enjoyed seeing Dante Bowe, Joe Barnes, and Brandon Lake.

The show was excellent. It didn't start on time but what show does. It also was longer than most concerts that I've been to in the past. Overall I still appreciated the show. Faith City was really good. I had heard their music but didn't know them by name. I'm now rocking their music in my playlist. I also didn't know all of Maverick City Music's music but now I'm listening more as I thoroughly enjoyed them and the whole presentation. Kirk is Kirk. I've seen him before in Augusta, GA and know he's going to put on a show, get all into the crowd and just do his thing. None of these artists disappointed. My wife and I had good seats and we just enjoyed the night.

The show was good. Things were not as tight and organized this time as the last two shows I've seen. They started late and there was a big gap between the host introducing them and the video actually starting and them coming out. Tim Bowen and Faith City did an excellence job of opening up. I was disappointed we did not have any surprise guest artist to appear. Missed some of the members from the first tour.

Last night was a straight turn up party!!!! They delivered on every aspect, the stage was perfect, the setting was amazing, they brought the biggest name performer you could ever imagine seeing. Who you ask, they brought the presence of the Lord in the building.
I sang, laughed, cried, sang some more and danced all night long. I'm so grateful I was able to experience this amazing concert

This was by far the best concert of my life. I attended with my husband and my aunt, who was visiting from Colombia, and even though she could only understand half of what was said (she speaks Spanish and a little bit of English) she could not stop thanking me for inviting her because she had the most amazing time! We laughed, we cried, we worshipped, we danced, we did it all! It was absolutely incredible, Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin came with the best energy and you could truly feel the joy in the room! Thank God for this incredible experience, and thank you Maverick and Kirk for an unforgettable night!! ❤️

When purchasing tickets in the Atlanta State farm arena please be weary of PIT seating. You WILL NOT HAVE AN ACTUAL SEAT. There were sooooo many concert goers who had not idea they were to stand the Entire time...including me. I was able to secure a seat elsewhere but it was very nerve racking. This ticket company along with the others did a Poor job of conveying this pertinent information.
The concert was good.

We had a group of 8 that paid $130 each for a Maverick City Music concert. It was entertaining, however this was more like a Kirk Franklin show with a few short glimpses of Mav City. The ad for this concert featured a solo pic of Brandon Lake, who was not even present at the concert. I’d suggest advertising this tour as a Kirk Franklin concert featuring a few members of Maverick City singing Kirk’s music.

As a missionary family of 8 we spend our time helping others all over the world. We don’t make much money, but I hear my kids sing Maverick City and Kirk Franklin as they are feeding and clothing others. I knew it was going to take a lot to make this happen for our family. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE. This was probably once in a life time event for us. As we get back on the plane or train to be less, God used Maverick to restore our souls.

This was my very first concert ever and I am so
Very happy that it was Mav city concert! So much so that I went to see it again the next day! I had an amazing time and got to experience God in a whole
New way , I’m so happy I waited for this to be my very first concert ! Thank you so much Mav and Kirk for the amazing experience and for creating an awesome worship atmosphere!

This was my second experiencing the awesome worship and heavenly songs of Maverick City and Kirk Franklin. I attended the event in Washington, DC and had to find where this event would come to this area again. I was so filled with the praise and worship at the Eagle Bank Area. The atmosphere was set for worship with every song and word spoken. I loved, loved this event.

Maverick City and Kirk Franklin were great,! However, the hour and a half run up to them coming out was not great with an opening band and then a long infomercial by a speaker about a charity they support. Nothing against those things but would come late to the concert to avoid them next time if I knew that’d happen. Again Mav City itself was amazing!

Absolutely amazing!!! This is my second time seeing them in person and it was nothing short of amazing. The move of God took over this place and we were able to do it while having fun. It’s evident that God has his hands all over this ministry. I don’t think there will ever be a time that I won’t attend their concert when they come to my city. If you needed someone to tell you to go, I am that person. GO! You will have an amazing time.

The show was in Fairfax, VA - not Silver Spring, MD as listed here. The show itself was excellent! The Holy Spirit was free to move throughout the program, as Mav dug deep into. their discography.
The only drawback was that the background music/instruments' mics were louder than the vocals so it was difficult to hear the lead singer of his/her particular song. (This issue persisted throughout the show - I'm surprised that it was not addressed during soundcheck or intermission.)
