Damon Johnson & The Get Ready

Journeyman musician Damon Johnson (Brother Cane, Thin Lizzy, Alice Cooper) launched his fully focused solo career upon departing Black Star Riders in 2018. Releasing his excellent 'Memoirs Of An Uprising' the following year, he toured extensively with his longtime friends Jarred Pope (drums) and Robbie Harrington (bass guitar). The trio entered the studio in early 2020 with producer Nick Raskulinecz to begin recording a new album under the band moniker The Get Ready. 'Battle Lessons' arrived in February '21, featuring the scorching title track, "Talk Yourself Into Anything", and "Can't Clap Any Louder".
