In the small town of Denton, TX, Livingston retreated into music as a means to cope with bullying, anxiety, and an even greater battle with himself. After quietly writing and producing intimate, yet cinematic demos out of his childhood room, he landed a deal with Elektra Records and found himself on the edge of a major breakthrough, resonating with countless individuals who lived similar stories of their own. Dubbed a “pop star in the making” by Ones To Watch, the eighteen-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer generated millions of streams on his 2020 debut EP Lighthouse and attracted more than one million followers on Tik Tok in less than six months. Weaving in influences ranging from Odesza and Jon Bellion to composers Hans Zimmer and Randy Newman, he deconstructed pop and cobbled it back together out of sweeping orchestration, hip hop beats, vivid lyrics, and bold vocals, striking a chord with audiences everywhere through unabashed honesty and big screen-worthy storytelling.
