Hello!
After teaching band for a few years (TOUGH job!) I decided to take it on the road and perform.
I played with a couple of Beach bands in the Southeast and was fortunate to be in a Cammy Award winning band called the Breeze. I was also personally inducted into the Beach Music Hall of Fame in 2019.
I decided to go solo about 15 years ago... and have never looked back!
As a solo artist I can play such a wide variety of music in many different genres including many originals.
I really get to know my audience and they get to know me as well.
I've been doing a weekly live stream at www.facebook.com/johngfranklinmusic every Friday night and my audience there has grown more than I ever dreamed possible.
