About Amanda Belair

Amanda Belair of Woodstock, GA started both singing and playing guitar at the tender age of 9. Belair's household was full of music with a pianist as her mother and drummer as her father causing her love for the art to blossom very early on. In her youth, Belair took every opportunity to showcase her talent performing in church choirs and soon singing in her school choirs as well. She was heavily influenced by jazz, blues, pop, and R&B after being influenced be trips to music festivals with her family. Belair recognized in high school that she wanted to pursue music and after graduating Sequoyah Highschool in 2015, she received a music scholarship to Reinhardt University. While perusing her vocal performance degree, Belair decided to cultivate a path for herself in contemporary music. Belair began to seek live performance opportunities and soon landed her debut as a full-time artist on her local new station's segment, "11 Alive's Moment to Shine". After several years of performing at popular local venues such as Eddie's Attic and Smith's Olde Bar, Belair gained recognition around the area and piqued the interest of local producers. Belair's growing popularity landed her a spot on Andre "MoDre" Brown's Classic Collective Album with her song "Freedom", which she helped to co-write. Since the release of the album, Belair has been able to work with other artists providing both backing vocals and instrumentation. Belair has worked with artists such as Roger Waters, The Heavy, P.S., MoDre, Bri Feel, and Lloyd Buchanan. In 2022, Belair released her first EP titled, "My Show". The project was co-written by Belair and her production partner, MoDre and truly highlights Belair's R&B and pop influences. Belair has since been working as a backing vocalist for some popular Atlanta- based artists and still continues to perform locally.
