About Daniel Ikpeama
Daniel Ikpeama is a vocalist, conductor, drummer, and private music instructor in Lincoln. After completing his bachelor’s in degree in vocal performance at Union College in Lincoln, Daniel earned his MM in choral conducting at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where he is now working toward the completion of a DMA degree in vocal performance.
Currently the worship director at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Daniel also worked as director for UNL’s Show Choir, the Big Red Singers. Featured as a tenor soloist in many operas, oratorios, musicals, and concerts, Daniel regularly performs in and around Lincoln. Some of his recent performances include the role of Eumaeus in Monteverdi’s "Ulysses", sheriff in Tyler White’s "The Gambler’s Son", and lead tenor in the Union College’s performance of "The Seven Last Words of Christ" by Theodore Dubois. Daniel has also worked with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company as both vocal soloist and conductor in collaboration with music director Nick Hallett for the company’s production "What Problem?"
