James Morrison (Jazz)

Fabulous,of course. James is amazing on trumpet and piano and other instruments his band, with 2 of his sons, together with the singers and accompanying orchestra made for a fun night. Good songs / music, interesting / humorous patter and some other fun elements made for a great uplifting concert.

Fantastic performance. James Morrison demonstrated virtuose qualities in all styles of jazz trumpet, flugelhorn, trombone, "superbone" (valves and slides), and piano, and even in a song-duell impro with co-star Tarjei Grimsby. Great entertainment! Prime Time bigband accompanied convincingly and with excellent solos (on base, drums, piano, saxophone, and trumpet). A highly enjoyable evening

Loved it! The Great lives up to its name as having great acoustics, especially for jazz music; and the Morrison Quartet didn’t disappoint - an awesome performance by James, his two sons William and Harry, and drummer Patrick.

Venue - very comfortable Event - very entertaining Bendigo Brass Band - very impressive and professional J.M - virtuoso musician , engaging raconteur, shared his limelight with other performers Scholarship recipients - David Stockwell & Morgan McDermott, impressive young people who hopefully have a great future in the entertainment industry
